The Burke Museum is a natural history museum in Seattle, founded in 1899, as the Washington State Museum, which began its career as a high school nature club, founded in 1879. This museum is the oldest in Washington state, and houses a collection of more than 16 million artifacts. Including the world's largest collection of birds of prey wings, skeletons, and more. Also located on the University of Washington campus, the Burke Museum is the official Washington State National Museum.
