Bumi Agung Chikidang Museum is one of the most important cultural and historical heritage buildings in Cianjur, and is also a silent witness to the struggle of the Indonesian people to achieve and preserve their independence. This museum is based on an old and archaeological house, as it was built in 1886 AD as a home for one of the local families in the city, and then played an important role in independence, and was used as a place to form the city’s army and hold secret military meetings. Today, the museum houses military equipment, weapons, and pictures of combat soldiers who died in wars.
