Information about Bucksturm
Historic tower dating from the thirteenth century, initially built for the purpose of observation and protection, was placed on the wall of the city of Osnabrück, and later also used the tower as a torture chamber during the period between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The tower was originally 28 meters high, but due to its ruin, ten meters of its height was removed in 1805. Today, the tower is a place for permanent and temporary art exhibitions, including the permanent hunting exhibition.
