The Bregenz Forest (German: Bregenzerwald) is one of the main regions of the state of Vorarlberg in Austria. The forest overlaps with the Bregenz Mountains, a group of the northern limestone Alps, specifically in the North Fleisch region. This forest serves as the drainage basin of the Bregenzer Ach. People often divide the Bregenz Forest into two main areas, Vorderwald "lower forest" and Hinterwald "upper forest". The Lower Forest, with its hills and low mountains, is located close to the Rhine Valley, while the Upper Forest is located on the highest mountains, with a height of up to 2000 metres. Both regions have distinct dialect differences. The nature here is like magic with lush green areas, lakes and other beautiful aspects of nature.
