Boston National Historical Park is an association of sites that showcase Boston's role in the American Revolution and other important parts of history, which was designated a national park on October 1, 1974. The park extends over an area of 43 acres, and includes walking paths that connect visitors to the most important sites of the revolution and the Freedom Trail, in addition to some recreational facilities.
