Borghetto is undoubtedly the most famous small village in Valeggio sul Minichio due to its history, landscape and monuments. The oldest part of the village still retains the distinctive appearance that makes it a symbol of a medieval village, characterized by its bell tower and water mill wheels (which were formerly used to grind wheat and grain) and the forts of Ponte Viscontio (Visconte Bridge).
