The Bohemian Moravian Highland Museum is located on Masaryk Square and was established in 1892 and is considered the largest museum in the region. The museum is housed in two interconnected houses. The museum houses the history of the Jehlava region; The first group includes history from the Gothic to the present, that is, approximately 8 centuries in the history of the city, and the second group includes the living nature of the Moravian Bohemian Highlands, in addition, tourists can see a lot about the history of mining in the region, and the museum organizes long-term exhibitions throughout the year 10-15 exhibitions annually.
