Bisaya Barreto House Museum is a wonderful little museum located near the Botanical Garden in Coimbra, and offers its visitors a unique and interesting experience, as it displays a collection of Bisaya Barreto collectibles; A famous surgeon from Coimbra, as well as a scholar and a man with a passion for fine arts, his magnificent 19th century palace has been converted into a museum, filled with sculptures, Portuguese paintings, Chinese porcelain and many other fine art pieces.
