The Bismarck Tower is located in Kassel, at an altitude of 214 meters above sea level. The 19.4-meter-high tower is made of blocks of the medieval city wall of Una and the Ruhr sandstone. It also served as a watchtower for the city and contains a fire basket at the top, as the tower was used in emergencies due to its height. Today, the tower has turned into an archaeological tourist attraction that brings visitors from everywhere to see the traditional architecture in it, and to watch Kassel from a high altitude.
