The history of the construction of the Bishop’s Palace dates back to the twelfth century AD. This palace was a Romanesque-style church and then turned into a palace dedicated to a number of bishops, the first of whom was the French bishop Bonbier, then the Hungarian Bishop Moore resided in it. The palace's exterior has recently been renovated, blending intricately designed Gothic and Romanesque styles.
