Bens Park is the largest park in A Coruña with an area of approximately 400,000 square metres, and is intended for public use. It was opened in 2001 AD, in the space of an old landfill, becoming an example of urban renewal. The park contains a natural hill overlooking the city and the sea, a playground and a dog-friendly area, in addition to a group of kiosks that offer amusements to park visitors.
