Indian chef Atul Kochhar earned a Michelin star (a global rating for restaurants) for his restaurant Benares in London in 2007, and his restaurant in Madrid follows the London formula, combining high-quality local ingredients, with traditional Indian cooking techniques, but Kochhar also takes inspiration from his cuisine. Spanish ingredients, and many local favourites, such as calamari and octopus, are incorporated into the menu. This restaurant also has a luxurious décor, and a wonderful view of the Ganese River. The menu includes all kinds of tandoori dishes, biryani, murgh tikka masala, scallops, octopus bhuna, and many others.
