Belfley Castle dates back to the 14th or 15th century and is located in County Cork near the village of Bellefley. It was built by the Anglo-Norman Hodnett family, but was taken over in the 14th century by the de la families Roch (De la Roch) and De Barra, and passed between many rulers and leaders during the past years, and at the beginning of the twenty-first century, visitors came to it constantly, considering it an archaeological and local symbol.
