The ancient Belgrade Fortress is one of the most famous tourist areas in the city, as it is located on top of a tall hill at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. Kalemegdan Park is an integral part of it, and it also provides tourists with a wonderful opportunity to learn about the history of the region from the third century BC to the present day.
