Built almost 300 years ago, Baikal Fort is considered to be one of the largest preserved castles in Kerala. The fort stands in its full glory and grandeur to this day. It is one of the most visited attractions by tourists and locals alike, and certainly one of the most famous in Kasaragod. This fort is surrounded by beautiful natural areas, and the fort provides a charming view of the Arabian Sea from the high watchtower where the cannons were placed.
