The Museum of Beekeeping in the Baroque Palace in the old part of the city contains Slovenian beekeeping techniques, which date back to the 18th and 19th centuries and are an important agricultural part. The museum displays the most typical bees, the biological life of bees, the work of the queen bee of the Carniolan bee (in summer it lives in the watch hive), and these artworks are what show Slovenian folk culture.
