Half an hour away from Kottayam, this museum is the most famous museum in the region. The museum houses woodcarvings by several local artists, which are distinctive works carved from the fossilized tree roots of Andaman Island, roots extracted from the ocean floor. The works included in the Guinness Book of Cruel Numbers, the largest collection of its kind in the world.
