Bay Area Discovery Museum covers an area of 7.5 acres in the Golden Gate National Recreation District. It is a children's museum that opened in 1987, and it consists of seven different areas, and features outdoor and indoor exhibition spaces. It also offers daily programs suitable for children from the age of 6 months to 10 years, and its exhibits cover various topics such as science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
