The Bavarian Opera is located in Munich and proudly displays the main works of German opera and ballet; The building was commissioned by King Maximilian I and designed by Karl von Fischer, inspired by the architecture of the Odeon Theater in Paris. The theater opened in 1818 before it was destroyed by fire in 1823 and was soon rebuilt and reopened to the public in 1825; It is worth noting that this new theater was inspired by the Greek Renaissance.
