Batumi Central Mosque was founded in 1886 and still exists today. It is considered one of the most important tourist and religious attractions in the city of Batumi. It is distinguished by its antique architectural design that dates back to the end of the nineteenth century, and this is what makes it a distinctive Islamic architectural masterpiece. Which means "the mosque in the middle", because it was in the middle of two other mosques, but they are not present now.
