Located in the heart of Batumi, the Batumi Archaeological Museum is frequented by tourists and residents alike, as it has managed to create for itself a wide fame and an excellent reputation due to its wonderful exhibits, among which you find pieces from the Bronze Age and the Middle Ages, and many excavations dating back millions of years. Collected from Adjara and Batumi, it was excavated by the joint Georgian-British expeditions. Among the pieces you will find Georgian and foreign coins, bronze vessels, glassware, ceramics, and much more.
