The Church of the Annunciation , also known as the Basilica of the Annunciation, is one of the most important Christian religious monuments in the city of Nazareth and is considered one of the most sanctified churches in the Christian world. The first church was built in this place in 427 AD and since then it was demolished and then many churches were built in the place. The current building, which was inaugurated in 1969 AD, contains the remains of the previous churches and constitutes one of the most luxurious and largest churches in the Middle East.
