The Basilica of Santa Maria Novella is a Dominican monastery, a distinctive monument of the religious and artistic history of Florence, where the bishops and nuns are buried. This church with a distinctive architectural character contains many paintings dating back to the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries AD, in addition to many famous frescoes of Gothic and early Renaissance masters. It is a really wonderful place and you must visit it when you go to the beautiful city of Florence. In front of it there is a small yard full of green grass where you can take beautiful pictures.
