The Church of San Giacomo Maggiore is one of the greatest religious monuments characteristic of the city of Bologna, which dates back to 1267 AD, when it was decided to establish a religious complex for the new regime. The church was completed in 1315 AD, and it was consecrated in 1344 AD.
