The Baroque Palace, which was built in the 18th century, is one of the most impressive monuments in the city of Timisoara. It has a typical Baroque architectural design. During recent centuries, the palace has hosted in its great hall many ceremonies and visits from emperors, kings and some important musicians such as Franz Liszt Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms and George Enescu, the palace today hosts the city's Art Museum, and although the museum does not host large collections, the existing collections and galleries are well worth a visit.
