The Banknote Museum of the Ionian Bank is located on the first floor of the historic building where the first branch of the Ionian Bank of Corfu was located. The museum houses an extensive collection of the bank's holdings, and a number of banknotes and coins documenting a history spanning more than 200 years from the operation of the Ionian Bank. A collection of bonds in the local Greek currency before the use of the euro, and printing plates of Greek currency can also be viewed.
