Information about Bank of Korea Money Museum
The Bank of Korea Monetary Museum is a cultural space and educational museum covering the history of banking in Korea and the development of the Korean economy. It houses huge collections including more than 20,000 pieces of banknotes, coins, and various Korean and foreign symbols. The exhibition hall on the second floor of the museum contains foreign currencies from 170 countries. National symbols and important buildings from each country are represented on the different coins and banknotes on display. The museum consists of four exhibition halls and a reference library for information, and entry to it is free.
