Balea Waterfall is one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in Romania, with a total height of more than 60m fan-shaped, with perennial slush emerald waters, and evergreen rocky and mountain backdrop. Today, the waterfall and its surroundings constitute an important tourist destination for lovers of natural adventures. Here, hiking, climbing and skiing trails are organized in the winter when the area is covered in white.
