Balchik Palace is the former summer residence of Roman Queen Marie of Edinburgh, located about 2 km southwest of Balchik in a beautiful area between rocks and the sea. Designed and built by Italian architects Amerigo and Augustino in 1924, it is provided with beautiful terraces along the seashore through which water flows along private stone channels and pours into the palace waterfalls.
