Baku Zoo is the oldest zoo in Azerbaijan. It was opened in 1928. The park is affiliated to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the most important thing that distinguishes it is the presence of the charming pink flamingo in it. The park also contains a variety of animals, including: lions, bears, kangaroos, llamas, deer and many others. The park also includes many places to sit around a small lake to rest and have popcorn, ice cream or refreshing drinks.
