Information about Bait Al-Baranda
Bait Al Baranda, which dates back to the nineteenth century AD, was built by Muhammad Nassib, but he did not inhabit it, and the government bought it from his inheritance. After that, many tenants of the place followed him until the government turned it into a museum that performs exhibitions and interactive displays of the city of Muttrah, starting from its geological formation, to ancient and marine life, folk art and the achievements that Muscat has achieved at the present time. Also, one of the museum's goals is to revive the artistic and cultural circles, so the government began to review many shows, including: Omanis converting to Islam. He performs many activities such as painting, pottery, arts, photography and reading. It is a comprehensive interactive historical cultural art center for the Omani citizen.
