Bab Al Hadd is one of the five gates built within the boundaries of the old city of Rabat. This gate is distinguished from other gates scattered throughout the city in that it is well preserved, so it appears to the onlookers as a modern addition to the city, because the municipality of Rabat pays great attention to preserving and renewing the monuments in the city. This gate was called the Hadd or Sunday Gate because it is located in an area where the Sunday market for the city's farmers has been held for dozens of years. It is a very beautiful gate covered with decorations and inside there is a wonderful gallery of pictures and drawings.
