The Oake Lake Trail was originally created to reach the John Moore Cabino; This trail is an excellent place for Nordic skiing during the winter. The trail offers views of Admiralty Island and the Gastino Waterway, and is visited by many residents and tourists by signing up with hiking groups and contemplating the wildlife and natural surroundings.
