The Augsburg Zoo opened in 1937 and now contains more than 1,600 animals of 300 species from all over the world. Despite its small size, this park is home to a great variety of animals, such as white rhinos, Asian and African elephants, and brown bears, which you can watch in the pool through a glass screen. If you like adventure, you can even ride one of the elephants. After visiting the animals, you can go to one of the dining rooms, where you will find buffet and self-service drinks machines. A wonderful trip not to be missed.
