The most famous Scandinavian museum of contemporary art is the Astrub Fernley Museum of Modern Art. Beautifully located by the fjord, this museum has become a popular landmark along the Oslo harbor promenade. The museum consists of two buildings where the main wing hosts periodic exhibitions of artists from all over the world, and then a magnificent bridge takes you to the second building where a selection of the collection of Astrup Fearnley is on display.
