The Aspire Tower, also known as The Torch Doha, is a 318-meter-high hotel and skyscraper, located in the Aspire Zone complex in Doha. It was designed by the Arab architect Hadi Samaan, to serve as a focal point for the fifteenth Asian Games hosted by Qatar in December 2006 AD, and the tower was built in a period not exceeding 15 months. The tower takes the form of a twisted torch, and LED lights have been installed throughout the exterior facades to create user-defined effects in different colours.
