This Armenian church is considered one of the oldest Christian institutions in Ukraine as a whole. It is a national church of the Armenian people and part of the ancient Eastern Orthodox churches. The church was built in 1875 AD, and the church is distinguished by its picturesque architecture, as a group of the most prominent sculptors and architects participated in its construction. In Ukraine, the likes of Peter Limsky, Mykola Lisakevsky and others. The church also includes in its outer garden a prominent collection of ancient statues and sculptures that were restored by the artist Vladimir Khripko.
