Built in 295 BC by order of Pyrrhus of Mulhouse in honor of his wife Antigonia, Antigonia was one of the largest ancient cities in Albania. Today, it is an archaeological park of more than 90 hectares filled with ruined paths, monuments, churches and temples, and visitors can enjoy the quiet countryside and the scent of history among the ancient stones.
