This museum is evidence of the great interest in the historical cultural relics of Croatia since antiquity, since in the early 16th century a nobleman of the city of Split created in his house a collection of ancient inscriptions. This museum houses an astonishing 1,750 pieces of Latin inscriptions, lots of Roman statues, a variety of wares, and more. This museum has a beautiful architectural design, and deserves a visit for its external beauty and for the antiquities it contains.
