The Archaeological Museum is located in the old Turkish Venetian government building. The exhibits in the museum present a longitudinal picture of the history of the wider region from prehistoric times to late times, meaning the early Christian period. The museum is divided into sections based on chronological (chronologically) and local criteria and distributed on the ground floor and first floor of the building, so that the visitor can see the monuments of the area in chronological order. Furthermore the results are presented in drill groups and topics. The entire exhibition includes enough information and visual materials to get more detailed information and attract the interest of visitors. The museum also has an elevator providing access to the upper floor and a specially designed toilet for people with disabilities.
