It stands out as one of the important monuments in the Jordanian city of Jerash. It is an ancient Roman triple gate and takes the shape of an arched 21 meters high. This arch was erected in honor of the visit of the Roman Emperor Hadrian to the city. It is estimated that the arch was 22 meters high and had wooden doors, as well as exceptional and unconventional architectural features such as columns decorated from below rather than from above.
