The tomb of the late President Yasser Arafat is a main destination for many tourists, as Arafat's body is located in a special shrine temporarily, according to Yasser Arafat's will, which stipulates that he be transferred to be buried in the Temple Mount. The mausoleum consists of three buildings: the mausoleum, the prayer hall and the minaret. The mausoleum is a cube-shaped building, the length of each side is eleven meters, which symbolizes the eleventh of November, the day of his departure, and in its center is the tomb of Yasser Arafat. The mausoleum's outer and inner walls were built of sacred stone and transparent glass. The Qur’anic verses are also engraved on the upper part of the wall of the shrine on all four sides, and the shrine is surrounded on three sides by a small water lake that is colored in rainbow colors every evening.
