The Geomar Aquarium invites you to discover the amazing marine life in its exotic detail, a large aquarium located near the Kiel Strait that extends over a vast area of about 350 square metres. Many types of different marine creatures live inside it, its original habitat is the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, as well as many fish of the Mediterranean and tropical regions. This aquarium is one of Kiel's top tourist attractions and receives more than 80,000 visitors annually.
