As a historic city, Antibes has many ancient artifacts collected from the sea and elsewhere around the city, and Greek and Roman ways of living are best understood through exhibitions at the Antibes Archeology Museum founded in 1963 in a 17th-century military building. It has guided tours in English and French and is not only for exhibitions, but also offers an array of beautiful coastal views.
