The Anaphonitria Monastery is housed in a beautiful stone masonry decorated with brightly colored rose trees. It is a Byzantine period building consisting of a tower that was used for defensive purposes and is now a place for church bells to ring on happy and sad occasions. The monastery also has several buildings, stone axes, and gardens full of saplings and flowers that visitors love to take souvenir photos of.
