The Amsterdam Gate, or as the locals call it Amsterdam Port, is an old city gate in Haarlem, the Netherlands, located at the end of the old road from Amsterdam to Haarlem, and is the only remaining of the original twelve city gates. The gate was characterized by a huge architectural design of towers with pointed peaks, which still stands tall to this day, forming a painting!
