In the midst of the Amazon rainforest is a charming piece of Renaissance architecture, the Amazonas Theater, also known as the Manaus Opera House, which is a historic landmark and hosts the annual Amazonas Opera Festival. The theater was distinguished by a unique architectural design that took 15 years to complete, which consists of more than five open floors, and gilded walls, where the Italian artist Domenico de Angelis painted the decorative panels on the ceiling of the hall and the audience room, and these artworks depict Scenes of music, dance and drama!
