A wild alpine park overlooking the lake is located in the Schazeite district, about half an hour's drive from Villach. Here you can see red deer, mouflon sheep, raccoons, ducks, geese, wild boars, goats, hedgehogs, turkey rooster, and more. The place also contains an animal museum, where there are many types of stuffed animals, in addition to a fish tank and a children's play area.
