Al-Khalaf and Al-Khalif are the sites of two neighboring villages, separated by 2 km and 5 km north of Qaluh, which belongs to the Al-Baha region. They date back to the middle Islamic ages. They are located on the top of the hill. In each of them there is a mosque dating back to the tenth century AH. There are still remains of the Al-Khalaf Mosque. As for the Al-Khalif Mosque, it has perished, and the village houses were built in the old traditional style of the Tihama area. This village is beautiful from During its location that overlooks Wadi Mahalla, the village is characterized by the presence of tombs and mosques on which there are Islamic inscriptions and writings in both locations, most of which are written in Kufic script.
