Alaverdi Monastery is located in the Kakheti region near the village of the same name. It is one of the largest church buildings in Georgia, with a height of more than 50 meters, including the dome. In the Middle Ages, it was one of the most prominent temples in Georgia. Today, it includes a group of historical buildings that include St. George's Cathedral, defensive wall, chapel, Bikar Khan's Palace, wine cellar, and bathroom.
